Updated Convention Information 5/12/2025We kindly request two items from each of you:
1- Please provide a list of your attending members, along with your designated delegates, in accordance with the state and national constitutions. 2 - If applicable, submit your nominations for the positions of President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. This allows us to plan for printing of ballots etc. Historically, the roles of President/Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer have been shared between representatives from each side of the state, based on a longstanding gentleman’s agreement. Should there be interest in formalizing this practice, it could be incorporated into the state constitution during this upcoming convention for future application. |

AOH Bylaws related to the State Convention:
ARTICLE XV - EXPENSES OF-DELEGATES
The expenses of Division and County delegates to the State Convention shall be borne by those delegates and alternates with partial or full reimbursement by their respective Divisions and Counties if such reimbursement is financially possible and approved by the membership.
ARTICLE XVI - DELEGATES
Delegates to the State Convention shall consist of the following:
1. State officers as outlined in Article V of these bylaws.
2. County officers per Sections 5 and 6, Article VIII of the A.O.H. National Constitution.
3. National officers per Sections 1, 2 and 9 of the A.O.H. National Constitution who are bona fide members of the A.O.H. in a Missouri Division.
4. The President of each Division plus the representation of that Division on a proportional membership basis the Division proportional representation shall consist of one (I) delegate for each twenty-five(25) Members or a major portion thereof based on the financial report indicating membership and Assessments paid for the year ending December 31 immediately preceding the State Convention. The Financial report with the required check shall have been filed with the State Secretary to form the basis for proportional representation.
5. The Past State President shall also be allowed to attend the State Convention as a delegate with a vote from that office. He must be in attendance to exercise his vote.
7. Any member in good standing in a Division in the State of Missouri is eligible to be a delegate or alternate from his Division.
